International Youth Day

In recognition of International Youth Day, Atlas Tower celebrates the youth of today and the potential of youth as partners in today and tomorrow’s global society. Atlas Tower is proud to sponsor the following organizations in their mission to promote education, life skills and life changing experiences:

Greeley-Evans School District 6
Accepting the challenge of tomorrow, Weld County’s District 6 mission is to create a nurturing, learning environment that provides resources and education to assist each of its 22,000 students reach for and realize their potential. The population of
the district is made up of economically challenged children and families, who speak more than 78 languages. Each year, community sponsors provide 3,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to underprivileged elementary and middle school students.

Soccer Without Borders
Through in-school, after-school, weekend, and summer programs, Soccer Without Borders Colorado is a crucial resource to newcomer refugee and immigrant youth across Greater Denver and Weld County, CO. Operating 26 ongoing sites across
Nicaragua, Uganda and the US, they reach more than 10,000 girls from 50+ countries. From direct programming to organizational and coach exchanges, to technical assistance, to coaching clinics and camps, Soccer Without Borders is a leading member of the global futbol for development community.

Kusasa Stars
Kusasa Stars are passionate about providing youth with a different perspective on what life has to offer outside of disadvantaged and humble beginnings. They use futebol to promote education and life skills, while engaging in life changing
experiences. Recently, the Kusasa Stars participated in The Gotha Cup, the largest futebol tournament in the world. It was a tremendous experience for all! Grove United /Grove Soccer Academy Founder, Justin Grove and his team prepare young adults on and off the pitch by providing a high-performance training environment to propel aspiring players to the next level. Grove Soccer seeks to provide players with opportunities to showcase their talent on a global platform and to develop life skills outside of
futebol.

Velokhaya Life Cycling Academy
The Velokhaya Life Cycling Academy aims to equip youth living in impoverished and underserved communities with the skills and opportunities required to thrive in life. Velokhaya amplifies the inner power of youth through building champs on
and off the bike. The program includes cycling, nutrition, after-school tutoring, mentoring and post school IT program.

A driving force behind this initiative is Atlas Towers’ Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder, Randi Clendennen. Randi personally takes the time to thoughtfully identify and invite each guest speaker, ensuring every session delivers authentic insight and tangible inspiration. Her passion for creating a space where women can be heard, supported, and empowered is at the heart of the Women in Wireless. She is deeply committed to fostering a culture where women lift one another up, share their stories openly, and learn new ways to thrive by drawing from each other’s lived experiences.
For each call, we invite an inspirational female guest speaker to share her journey, from the challenges she has faced to the lessons she has learned along the way. Our speakers have included Olympians, business leaders, and entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries, each offering valuable insight into resilience, leadership, and perseverance.
These conversations provide more than just career advice; they foster mentorship, encourage open dialogue, and empower the women of Atlas Towers to envision new possibilities within their own professional journeys. By hearing firsthand how others have turned obstacles into opportunities, our team members gain practical tools and renewed confidence to continue growing within their roles and beyond.
Atlas Women in Wireless reflects our broader commitment to supporting and elevating the voices of women within the telecommunications industry. By investing in these opportunities for connection and learning, we aim to cultivate a culture where women feel supported, inspired, and equipped to lead.
